Spring was in full bloom at Heritage Landing at Fort Benning as residents gathered for our 2026 Spring Spruce Up Event, a vibrant community event designed to help families refresh their outdoor spaces and connect with neighbors. From the moment the event began, residents arrived eager to select flowers, pick up lawn care essentials, and speak with our Mainscapes landscaping experts. With more than 200 pallets of flowers available, there was no shortage of beautiful options to choose from. The excitement was undeniable—and by 4:30 PM, every last flat of flowers had been claimed. The quick sell-out was a true reflection of the engagement and pride residents take in their homes and outdoor spaces within our Fort Benning military housing community.
The event also showcased the heart of our community through the participation of several Home-Based Businesses, who helped make the afternoon even more enjoyable. Their presence added a unique, local touch and highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit that thrives within military housing communities like Heritage Landing at Fort Benning. As temperatures began to rise, an ice cream truck arrived just in time, offering a refreshing treat and giving families a chance to cool off while continuing to enjoy the event.
