Neighborhood Market Day Brings Community and Small Businesses Together

Heritage Landing's first-ever Neighborhood Market Day brought residents together for a vibrant day of shopping, local food, and community connection at the Patton Village Community Center.

Designed to showcase the many talented entrepreneurs operating Home Based Businesses in Heritage Landing, the community market featured a diverse selection of local vendors offering handcrafted goods, baked treats, photography services, home services, specialty products, and more. Residents had the opportunity to meet small business owners face-to-face, learn about their services, and support local businesses without leaving the neighborhood.

Guests enjoyed a variety of sweet treats, handmade products, and specialty items while exploring vendor booths throughout the community center. The event also featured Tobelems Table Brazilian Street Food, a popular local food vendor serving a flavorful menu that included açaí bowls, empanadas, smash burgers, loaded fries, and other Brazilian-inspired favorites.

In addition to shopping and dining, attendees had the chance to win door prizes generously donated by participating businesses and Heritage Landing. These giveaways added excitement throughout the day while highlighting the strong partnerships and entrepreneurial spirit within the Heritage Landing community.

Neighborhood Market Day was created to be more than just a local shopping event. The quarterly community market supports resident-owned businesses, encourages neighborhood engagement, and helps strengthen connections among families, entrepreneurs, and community members throughout Heritage Landing.

Following the success of this inaugural Neighborhood Market Day, the event will continue as a quarterly community market rotating among Heritage Landing's community centers. Future events will provide even more opportunities for residents to discover local businesses, shop small, enjoy local food vendors, and support their neighbors.
