Fall Fun, Family Memories, and Community Spirit at Heritage Landing’s Fall Festival
Fall was in full swing at Heritage Landing as residents gathered for our 2026 Fall Festival at the Welcome Center on Fort Benning! From pumpkins and playful farm animals to exciting games, sweet treats, and plenty of smiling faces, the afternoon was filled with everything we love about bringing our military housing community together.
With families joining us from neighborhoods across Heritage Landing, this year's festival was a wonderful reminder that home is about more than where you live. It's about the memories you make and the neighbors you share them with.
A Fall Celebration Full of Family Fun
This year's Fall Festival brought a little something for everyone! Our pumpkin patch provided a festive backdrop for family photos, while visiting farm animals gave residents of all ages an opportunity to get up close with some adorable farm friends.
Throughout the festival, children put their skills to the test with a variety of games, earning tickets they could exchange for prizes and toys. Lucky participants even scored special gold tickets worth extra points! Our youngest residents weren't left out either, thanks to a dedicated Toddler Town with age-appropriate activities and plenty of opportunities to join the fun.
Between the games, lawn activities, photo opportunities, and festive decorations, there was no shortage of ways for families to enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon together.
Local Favorites and Resident-Owned Businesses Made It Even Sweeter
One of our favorite parts of hosting community events at Heritage Landing is the opportunity to celebrate the small businesses that make our community so special.
This year's festival featured a delicious lineup of treats and refreshments, including Mission Brew Coffee, Sabor Mexicano, and Nut Hut.
We were also thrilled to feature talented resident-owned Home-Based Businesses (HBBs), including Lala's and Whisk-y Business Cakery. Crumbles and Crème even shared some delicious donuts with festivalgoers despite being unable to attend in person!
Supporting our resident entrepreneurs is an important part of building a connected community, and we love seeing our neighbors share their creativity, talents, and businesses with fellow military families.
Making Memories at Fort Benning
Life in a military community comes with its share of changes, new beginnings, and opportunities to meet new people. Events like our Fall Festival create a welcoming space where families can connect, children can make friends, and neighbors can enjoy time together outside their everyday routines.
Whether residents were attending their first Heritage Landing event or returning for another favorite community tradition, it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying everything the afternoon had to offer.
We extend a heartfelt thank-you to our participating businesses, volunteers, team members, and everyone who helped bring this celebration to life. Most importantly, thank you to our residents for showing up and making this year's Fall Festival such a success!
